Percy, born on August 30, 1987, was 37 years old when he tragically passed away, leaving behind his loving family. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his nieces. Originally from Sacramento, California, his family relocated to Las Vegas, NV, in 2002, where he graduated from Desert Pines High School. According to police and media reports, Percy was alleged to have been holding a knife and charged at officers, prompting them to discharge their weapons. However, body camera footage showed officers firing at Percy within moments of their arrival. The incident stemmed from a 911 call reporting customers allegedly threatening employees, though several witnesses stated that Percy was attempting to mediate a conflict involving his girlfriend and the staff before leaving. The manager who made the call later resigned, citing the aftermath of the incident as the reason, and Red Dragon has withheld surveillance footage from the public and Percy’s family, providing it only to law enforcement.
