IOn June 1, 2020, 25-year-old Jorge Gomez was peacefully protesting the police murder of George Floyd while exercising his 2nd Amendment right. After a verbal interaction with an unidentified officer at the Lloyd D. George Federal District Courthouse, the officer aggressed towards Jorge, shooting at him with rubber bullets. Jorge ran away from him and moments later, four LVMPD officers shot 19 rounds at him, killing him.
